Sirens

Sirens follows the journey of a dancer passing from human form to aquatic when she encounters the mystical sirens. She searches to find peace in her natural environment. A dance film exploring themes of transformation and the power of the divine femine within mother nature. Using the mythology of the siren as a path to understanding the grace and power of the divine feminine.

Sirens connect deeply with the earth, and transform the alchemy of their darkness into wisdom and empowerment. As we unravel oppressive patriarchal systems we have discovered that this imbalance creates chaos within ourselves, between one another and harms our great mother; the earth. Through this film we use the archetype of the siren and the mythology surrounding her to highlight the power, mystery and value of the feminine in our lives.
