A donation-based creative workshop hosted by Aixa Ríe & Britt Angus. Open to all ages, abilities, and experience levels, this workshop combines contemporary dance, improvisation, and drawing in an accessible space for for movement and visual expression. Through stretching, somatic practices, playful movement explorations, projected visuals and drawing, participants are invited to transform sensations, gestures and imagination into both movement and image. No dance or drawing experience is needed. Everyone is welcome. No financial barriers.

Special Guest: Aixa Ríe

Aixa is a visual artist, dancer, and facilitator from Argentina, currently based in Berlin. She studied Visual Arts and trained in Contemporary Dance and Contact Improvisation in Patagonia, where she began exploring the relationship between movement, image, and creative expression.

Drawing, painting, and dancing have always been her greatest passions. Her artistic research focuses on bringing these disciplines together, developing a personal language that emerges through direct experience, presence, and embodied creativity.

Roque is a Peruvian dancer, performer and art director based in Berlin. His movement is inspired by South American and queer culture. Shannon Walsh (she/her) is a Berlin-based interdisciplinary performing artist. She views the body as a vessel for emotion, memory, and expression, bridging the physical and spiritual through movement and sound. She earned her BFA in Modern Dance from Marymount Manhattan College in 2019 and has collaborated with esteemed choreographers across diverse stages. Her class guides participants inward, using the body as a vessel for profound self-expression and emerging inner truths.

Special Guest: AJ Guevara

AJ Guevara is a Filipino-American multidisciplinary performance artist, educator, and director based in New York City. He holds a BFA from VIrginia COmmonwealth Universtiy, with additional training from Accedemia dell’Arte (Arezzo, IT) and American Dance Festival. His background in floorwork, yoga, improvisation, immersive theater, puppetry, and large-scale apparatus work has informed his  distinctive style that blends athletic, acrobatic movement with dynamic partnering to create bold, physical performances.

Company credits include Company SBB/Stefanie Batten Bland, Pony Box Dance Theater, Tiffany Mills Company, Poncili Creacion, Heidi Latsky Dance, Emursive Productions,  AXIS Dance Company, Beth Morrison Projects, and Company|E, among others.

His work with Company|E, in partnership with the US State Department, has allowed him to serve as an Artistic Diplomat for Cultural Exchange- Allowing him to perform and present choreography in Tunisia, Qatar, The UAE, Cuba, The United Kingdom, Uruguay, Georgia, Thailand, and Palestine. 

He has been presented workshops and choreography in Armenia, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Croatia, Dominican Republic, Germany, Mexico, Romania, Portugal, Vietnam, as well as Universities and Institutions across the USA.

Most recently, AJ has worked with DIAVOLO | Architecture in Motion,  The Metropolitan Opera, and Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy at The Shed.

He is also the Co-Director of BURNTSALADtanz and N/A Dances- The resident company of Festival Internacional De Danza Avant Garde (Merida, MX).

On June 18th, PLATTE invited CHAOS to their monthly Feierabend in collaboration with @raufaser.atelier, led by Lennart Kuss.

RAUFASER is a Berlin-based fashion brand that redefines fashion as a creative expression, blending art, community, and craftsmanship. the brand focuses on creating unique, handmade pieces that are designed to create new shapes, silhouettes and appearances. through careful experimentation with textures, materials, and cuts it offers a distinct, artistic take on fashion. 

FT: a blend of House and Techno by @jordybearson. The NRW-born DJ of Congolese heritage brings emotional, energetic sets, always tailored live for each individual crowd.

There will be live visuals by @chaosemblematic with artists Britt Angus and Anja Malec.

CHAOS is an international cultural collective uniting dance, visual art, live music, and community - bringing creatives together and cultivating connection.

This project was funded as part of the Joint Task "Improvement of the Regional Economic Structure" (GRW) with federal and state funds.

Aliénore is a French-British singer & musician living in Berlin creating ethereal, witchy alternative pop. Cinematic and ambient harmonies blend with gothic tones, whilst haunting vocals weave around enchanting synth lines, atmospheric sounds, and words written both in English and French. Aliénore's music pulls the listener into a dreamy soundscape with depth, rawness, and sensitivity.
